The Aga Khan Studs are consigning a draft of16 racing and breeding prospects at this year’s Arqana Summer Sale in Deauville at the beginning of July.
Nardaran
Age Khan graduates from last year’s edition of this sale include Nardaran, sold as a once-raced wildcard last year to Tom Malone and Paul Nicholls, who earlier this year broke his maiden over hurdles by 11 lengths.
This year’s consignment include Canatiyann, a Lope De Vega gelding related to recent Gr.1 Prix Vicomtesse Vigier winner Candelari who broke his maiden on debut on 14th June; Rodoya, who has also won since the catalogue was printed; Seremini, winner of two races to date; Tiyanada, who has now placed second twice in two starts; Ashnak, a winner and fourth on his only start at Stakes level at Saint-Cloud; and Darawi and Dalakir, two relations by Siyouni and Zarak to Dilawar, who has won four Stakes races for his new connections since his sale at Arqana in 2022.
Three fillies out of training meanwhile include Sherawa, a half-sister to Stakes winner Shelir from a family that has produced many good horses for other breeders, including Group 1 winner Bay Bridge and recent Gr.1 Just A Game Stakes winner Dynamic Pricing.
