Current Derby favourite Visindar lived up to expectations today at Saint Cloud when finishing well clear of the rest of the field in the Group 2 feature race. Relaxed throughout the preliminaries, he sat just off the pace set by Moon Mix before switching to the outside to challenge. The son of Sinndar cruised past the finishing post a full 4 lengths clear of his nearest rival thus remaining on course for Epsom. Visindar's Derby price has shortened from 50-1 to 6-4 in a matter of weeks.

...

Sinndar's first crop of 3 year olds produced Irish Oaks winner Shawanda, and it looks like Classic victory with his second crop of 3 year olds is imminent. Youmzain meanwhile finished a good third in the GR2 Derby Trial at Leopardstown on Sunday while Numero Due won a decent handicap at Thirsk the day before.
