The Aga Khan Studs is pleased to announce Christophe Soumillon will continue to be retained as first jockey to the Aga Khan in France for a further two years, which extends the existing agreement until 2008.

Christophe Soumillon has ridden as first jockey to the Aga Khan in France since the beginning of the racing season in 2002. This successful partnership has seen wins in many significant races including Dalakhani’s Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and Prix du Jockey Club wins in 2003, Shawanda’s Irish Oaks and Prix Vermeille successes in 2005 and most recently Darsi’s victory in this year’s Prix du Jockey Club.
