"Shawanda is our star and our whole season could be built around her", said Godolphin Racing Manager Simon Crisford. Outlining plans for the 4 year old daughter of Bonneval-based Sinndar at Godolphin's Al Quoz stables in Dubai yesterday, Crisford explained that "she will probably start in the Tattersalls Gold Cup and, all being well, head to Royal Ascot for the Prince of Wales's."

...

Also amongst Godolphin's purchases at the end of last season were the Aga Khan's Caradak, who will be aimed at Group 2 races over 7-8f, and of course Valixir, who runs in the Dubai Duty Free before hopefully heading for Hong Kong.
