Dalakhani secured his ninth Stakes winner of the season, and 41st of his career, at Chantilly on Tuesday as his daughter Vedouma ran out an impressive winner of the Listed Prix Isonomy in the colours of H.H. the Aga Khan.

Aga Khan Stud stallions made a clean sweep in the mile event as runner-up Passiflore and third placed Svoul are both by Haras de Bonneval’s leading first crop sire Siyouni.

The highly-esteemed Vedouma is now unbeaten in two outings after success in her debut at Longchamp in October. The filly was not troubled by the heavy ground in the Prix Isonomy and stretched out in the final straight to win by half a dozen lengths. She is an exciting prospect for 2015, with trainer Alain de Royer Dupré commenting after this latest victory, “Vedouma has a lot of class. She should certainly win a Group race and is likely to stay a mile and a half.”

The beautifully-bred Vedouma is out of Gr.1 Prix Saint-Alary victrix Vadawina (Unfuwain), and as such is a full sister to Vadamar, winner of the Gr.2 Prix du Conseil de Paris. This is also the family of Vazira (Sea The Stars) who took the 2014 edition of the Gr.1 Prix Saint-Alary, and dual Group winner Vadapolina (Trempolino).

Gilltown Stud sire Dalakhani has enjoyed an excellent season with nine individual winners of thirteen Stakes races, headed by top-class filly Integral, winner of a pair of Group 1 mile contests. The Prix du Jockey-Club and Arc de Triomphe winner will stand for a fee of €17,000 in 2015.
