Azamour notched up yet another Group 1 victory in the GR 1 Prince of Wales Stakes at Royal Ascot at York this afternoon under Mick Kinane. He settled early in the race and while Ace challenged early on the straight, Azamour kept on coming and finished strongly, leaving the rest of the field strung out behind him. The 4 year old Night Shift colt, owned by His Highness the Aga Khan and trained by John Oxx, won the St James's Palace Stakes at 3 before going on to beat Norse Dancer in the Irish Champion Stakes. He will now head for the King George and/or the Arc. Updated 16/06/2005.
