The unbeaten Champion of 2008 Zarkava gave birth to a bay filly by Frankel on Tuesday 14th April. The winner of five Group 1s at two and three, including the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches, Prix Vermeille and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, Zarkava's legacy is set to continue at stud through her sons and daughters. The newborn foal is indeed a full sister to Zarkamiya, a Listed winner at three and third in the Gr.1 Prix Vermeille, who gave birth this year to her first foal, a filly by Medaglia D’Oro.

Zarkava is also the dam of Zarak (Dubawi), winner of the Gr.1 Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud and second in the Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club. Zarak is standing at Haras de Bonneval for his third season and is due to cover a full book of mares as per the last two seasons.

Zarkava has a three-year-old filly by Siyouni named Zaykava, a two-year-old colt by Sea The Stars and a yearling filly by Dubawi. She is due to visit Siyouni again this year.
