Another high-class Aga Khan Studs consignment.
Lot 161 Daldiyna (Dansili) is a half-sister to Gr.1 winner Dolniya
Breeders seeking the dam of a future Almanzor, Vadamos or Mont Ormel, all out of Aga Khan broodmares, will have a further chance at Arqana’s December Breeding Stock Sale. The Deauville catalogue features 26 broodmares and fillies out of training from the Aga Khan Studs, and as ever, some magnificent pedigrees are on offer.
Many of the broodmares have already proven their worth in the paddocks, and the consignment even includes the dams of Group 1 winners. This is the case of lot 186 Balankiya who has produced Gr.1 Secretariat Stakes and Gr.2 Prix Eugène Adam scorer Bayrir. A daughter of Darshaan and Listed victrix Balanka, Balankiya is a half-sister to two Group winners. She is sold in foal to Mastercraftsman.
Lot 26 Kasatana is the dam of Kesampour, winner of the Gr.2 Prix Greffulhe and fourth in the Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club. A dual winner, the daughter of Hernando is out of a half-sister to the excellent Kahyasi and she herself is the half-sister to Group winners Kassani and Kassana, the latter being the dam of Group 1 victrix Kastoria. Kasatana is expecting a foal by Classic sire Siyouni.
Lot 31 Kozaka is another black-type producer as the winning daughter of Mark Of Esteem is the dam of three Stakes performers. Presented in foal to Le Havre, the mare shares her granddam, Arc third Kozana, with five-time Group 1 winner and sire High Chaparral.

Some excellent families figure among the fillies out of training, as is the case for lot 161 Daldiyna (Dansili). This placed filly is a half-sister to the top class Group 1 winner Dolniya, out of a half-sister to champions and sires Dalakhani and Daylami.
Three-year-old fillies Sarzameen (lot 89), Shahmeen (lot 96) and Simaviya (lot 102) also possess enviable bloodlines. By Siyouni, Sarzameen is a half-sister to Groupe 3 victrix and dual Groupe 1 runner-up Sarkiyla. Shahmeen (Shamardal) is the first foal of Stakes winner Shamanova, and granddaughter of the prolific Group-producer Shamadara, while Simaviya is out of a half-sister to dual Derby and Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe winner Sinndar.
Royal Patronage, out of Shaloushka, lands his first top level victory.
