By KAHYASI out of Karamita, the 11 yo gelding bred by His Highness won by a neck for Australian trainer Eric Musgrove. A previous winner of this Gr.1 event in Japan, KARASI was formerly trained in the UK by Sir Michael Stoute, where he won 3 races before being purchased for 95 000gns by Kern Lillingston at Tattersalls Autumn HIT in 1998.

A proven flat sire with 5 Group 1 winners to his name, KAHYASI has also sired leading jumpers Afsoun, Shamayoun, Kasbah Bliss, Hirapour, Nobliau, Ansar to name his most recent blacktype successes. Not only this but the dual Derby winner is also a top class broodmare sire who was responsible for Group winners Intercontinental, Shamdala, Right Key and Cacique in 2005.
