The global appeal of sire Redoute’s Choice combines with the international fame of superstar mare Black Caviar at the forthcoming Inglis Easter yearling sale. The yearling half-brother, by current Haras de Bonneval resident Redoute’s Choice, to the unbeaten 24-time winning sprinter will be offered as lot 131 on 9th April. In addition to Black Caviar, his dam Helsinge (Desert Sun) has also produced triple Group 1 scorer All Too Hard (Casino Prince) and her latest progeny for sale has attracted interest from all corners of the globe.

The hammer dropped at Aus$2.6 million for the full sister to lot 161 at last year’s Easter sale and this Redoute’s Choice filly, now named Belle Couture, is in training at Flemington. An even higher price is anticipated for her brother, and sales company Inglis are hoping that the Easter sale record of Aus$3 million will be broken by this exceptionally well-bred yearling.
Redoute’s Choice, who recently feted his 100th Stakes winner, will be represented by 35 individuals in the Easter catalogue.
An Aga Khan Studs maternal line will be offered as lot 391, in the form of a son of Listed winner VADSALINA and Starcraft. This colt is the half-brother to highly regarded Redoute’s Choice three-year-old VADASHAN who has won two races to date. His dam was exported to Australia as part of the joint venture between Arrowfield and the Aga Khan Studs. She is a Sagacity half-sister to Group 1 victrix Vadawina (Unfuwain) who is the dam of Group 2 winner Vadamar (Dalakhani), and to dual Group 3 scorer Vadapolina (Trempolino).
