Following BEHKABAD’s close second in the Group 2 Grand Prix de Chantilly on 5th June, the four-year-old son of Cape Cross suffered an injury to his left knee that was sustained during the race. This will keep him off the racecourse at least until the Autumn.
BEHKABAD was having his seasonal debut after a successful campaign in 2010 where he won the G1 Grand Prix de Paris, the G2 Prix Niel and the G3 Prix de Guiche. This followed his unbeaten season as a two-year-old which culminated in his win in the G3 Prix des Chenes. BEHKABAD has so far run 11 times, winning 6 races and placing on all his other starts.
