ZARKAVA foaled a bay colt by SEA THE STARS on Friday 11th February at the Aga Khan’s Haras de Bonneval. Georges Rimaud, French manager of the Aga Khan Studs reported: “he is a strong colt who looks like his sire and is very correct. It was a straight forward foaling and both the mare and foal are fine.”
ZARKAVA has now produced two offspring by Arc de Triomphe winners, after producing a filly by DALAKHANI last year.
This is the second foal by SEA THE STARS, out of a mare owned by His Highness the Aga Khan. The first was born on the 5th February at Gilltown Stud out of Asmara, the dam of Azamour. The filly was described by Pat Downes as “a fine filly with good bone and great scope”.
