By Selkirk out of the Kahaysi mare Riyafa, she was an easy two and a half length winner of the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes at a rain-drenched Newmarket on Sunday. Trained by Sir Michael Stoute, RIYALMA was runner-up on her debut at Leicester as a 2 year old and this was a pleasing second outing for the filly in preparation for the English Classic.
Sir Michael is also aiming SINDIRANA, by KALANISI out of Sinndar's half sister Sinndiya (Pharly-Sinntara) at the Oaks for her owner-breeder.
