DARASA

There was no shortage of interest in the well made Barathea mare out of Darshaan's Group placed daughter Darashandeh, sold in foal to Domedriver. Herself a winner, DARASA is also a half sister to the promising Polish Precedent colt Darsi who has shown plenty of promise as a 2 year old. She also has a winning 3 year old half brother by Night Shift and a yearling half sister by Sakhee on the ground so there is plenty to suggest that the family will continue to improve.

Underbidder on DARASA, Gilles Forien secured the second highest priced lot HALEEMA, for €130 000. Meanwhile Felipe Hinojosa took home the youthful KERAKA, Sunday's third highest lot of the day, signed for by Carlos Laffon-Parias at €80 000. Lot 462, Sheshawa, heads to South America having been acquired by Oceanic Bloodstock for one of Chile's leading breeders, Pedro Hurtado.
