Winners and top pedigrees feature in Aga Khan Studs draft.

The Aga Khan Studs will present a draft of 15 horses in training at the forthcoming Arqana Autumn Sale on 18th November at Deauville. The consignment which is rich in potential for a future on the flat, over jumps or in the paddocks, features some leading bloodlines and numerous winners.

Among the highlights, dual winner SAGAMA (lot 132) presents a promising breeding profile as she is by renowned broodmare sire Sinndar and from the prolific family of this year’s Group 1 winner Japan and promising juvenile Group winner Mogul. The other filly of the consignment, lot 59 VADILIKA (Poet’s Voice) is out of a half-sister to Group 1 winners Vadawina and Vazira.

This family is also represented by lot 134 VARIYANN, a son of Shamardal and Vazira, while other progeny of Group 1 winning dams are lot 54, the beautifully-bred colt SHARGHANN who is a son of SEA THE STARS and Arc third Shareta, DARALIMI (lot 58) who is by SIYOUNI and out of Prix de Diane winner Daryaba, dam of Hong Kong Vase winner Daryakana, and placed colt SHALABINI (by Nathaniel out of Shalanaya, lot 163).

Noteworthy siblings include winning gelding VORASHANN (lot 135), a Sinndar half-brother to top stayer Vazirabad, and lot 55, TAKALEYAN, a half-brother by Muhaarar to Australian Group 1 scorer and young sire Whisky Baron. In addition, KASAMAN (Charm Spirit, lot 131), a winner at Saint-Cloud and fourth in the Group 2 Prix Hocquart, is a half-brother to Group 2 scorer Kesampour.
