Ervedya, Mandesha, Sarafina relatives in Deauville sale.

An exceptional consignment from the Aga Khan Studs for the forthcoming Arqana Breeding Stock Sale in December features no less than seven siblings of Group 1 winners including Ervedya, as well as a daughter of champion racemare Mandesha.

Composed of 42 fillies out of training, young and proven broodmares, this draft provides an exciting opportunity to invest in some of the Aga Khan Studs most celebrated pedigrees.

Lot 172 ENNAYA represents a rare opportunity to purchase a close relative to a 2015 Classic winner, being a half-sister to Siyouni’s triple Gr. 1 winner Ervedya. This young broodmare by Nayef is the winner of two races and is sold in foal for the first time to Le Havre.

Many of the individuals have demonstrated their talents on the racetrack, and this is the case for Mandesha’s daughter MANDHEERA (Bernardini), lot 87, a winner this summer at three years old. Her triple Gr. 1 winning dam has also produced Listed scorer and Gr. 1 third Mandour.

Other three-year-old fillies out of training directly related to Group 1 winners are lot 92 MONISHA, a Sinndar half-sister to Manighar who has won three Australian Gr. 1 titles, lot 149 SAGAMIYNA (Azamour) whose half-sister Sagawara lifted the Gr. 1 Prix Saint-Alary.

Lot 36 DARDANIA is the dam of three winners to date and is sold in foal to Lawman. A daughter of talented broodmare sire Dalakhani, she is a half-sister to Gr. 1 victrix Daryakana, whose first foal Dariyan won the Gr.2 Prix Eugène Adam this year and is due to run in the Gr.1 Hong Kong Vase.

The draft also features fillies and mares from the family of Vedela and Vadawina, whose yearlings were sold for €1.4 million and €950,000 this year, as well as close relatives to this year’s Gr.1 winner Vazirabad.

These are just some of the highlights of the Aga Khan Studs fillies and mares due to be sold at Deauville from 5th to 8th December, with other families featured being those of the famous Ebadiyla, Edabiya, Enzeli and Estimate quartet, as well as the prolific line of Prix de Diane heroine Shemaka.
