Excellent sales results for first Kalanisi foals

The first Kalanisi offspring to go through the sales ring were particularly well received, making up to 75,000 Guineas (106,504 Euros) at the Tattersalls December foal sale.

This top lot was a bay colt foal, out the Dolphin Street mare Shesasmartlady belonging to Newton Lodge Stud, and was eventually knocked down to Hugo Lascelles Bloodstock. Another foal to have caught the eye was the Genesis Green Stud colt out of Baalbek, which was bought by Borge Olsson for 54,000 Guineas (76,690 Euros).
