Sinndar and Sendawar yearlings popular

Wednesday 24 September 2003

First crop sires Sinndar and Sendawar both had a successful first day at the Goffs Orby Sale when their yearlings made up to €290,000 and €200,000 respectively.

Richard Fahey went to €290,000 for lot 160, an attractive filly by Sinndar out of multiple Stakes producing mare Style of Life. This filly’s two year old half brother by Daylami is the highly regarded debutant winner Grey Swallow, whose next objective is the Group I Dewhurst Stakes.

A little earlier, Howard Johnson paid €200,000 for a handsome son of World Champion Miler Sendawar and Snow White, a Polar Falcon half sister to three Stakes winners including Grade I winner Jovial.
